Dear Customer,

It appears that Spamhaus (Spamhaus.org) has blocked one huge range of TmNet’s Datacentre Ip address due spam..

We have reported this incident to TMNET and they are on currently wroking on this matter to co-operate with Spamhaus.

Apparently one of the servers are hosting spam operators (ROKSO) thus, in order to make TmNet comply, Spamhaus blocked the entire range of Ip address

and caused many hosting providers' servers to be blocked blocked.

Below is tha range of Ip address for your reference.

SMTP Port Blocking By TMNet

Please take note that TmNet (MALAYSIA – Internet Service Provider) is now blocking SMTP Port 25 to mitigate Spam in their network. (For Streamyx with Dynamic IP accounts)

This will prevent users from sending email thru normal SMTP port.
In order to solve this problem, Easynet Interactive will be running another copy of mail server utilizing port 26. If you experiencing connection problem especially sending mail thru our server. Please change your SMTP port to port 26

Issues : Intermittent Connection to Server 4.30pm 22/11/2007

Time : 4.30pm 22/11/2007

Issues : Intermittent Connection to Server

Resolved : 5.00pm 22/11/2007

Dear Customer, One of TmNet's customer server was attacked by Distributed Denial Of Service (DDOS) The network became satured and TmNet Datacentre engineers spent quite a bit of time to segregate the attacked Ip address. In order to mitigate DDOS, the ip addresses of customers including ours need to be released by stages. We are truly sorry of the inconvenience. The connection resumed normal at 5.00pm 22/11/2007

Regards,
EasyNet
